Neue Seite

{{:KunterBuntesSeminar-WS25/Terminseiten-Header|2|17. November 2025}}
We travel to the big pond between the Americas and …

Yeah, okay, no, we don't, what did you think. Gulf of Mexico is a – cite: "perfect" – programming language, formerly known as DreamBerd. We take a look at it's features and maybe examples.

This KBS is designed to be held either in English or German, depending on the attending crowd. See a German-speaking description below.

== Content ==

We go through the features of the perfect programming language. At the end of the seminar you will know how to program in Gulf of Mexico, namely you will know:

* what inverted exclamation marks would be useful for
* why you would want to declare a variable constant
* how you use floats as array indices
* what the hack a three-valued Boolean is good for
* when to use prioritized overloads and negative lifetimes
* … and more stuff I don't want to spoil!

So come to the seminar to learn very useful programming skills for your next project! It could be perfect. ;)

== Inhalt ==

If you want to spoiler yourself take a look at https://github.com/TodePond/GulfOfMexico. But I don't recommend, it's a bit like a drug, once begun reading, you won't want to stop. So just be kind and attend the Seminar.
